We've been hearing a lot of different advice on hydration recently: drink water in small amounts throughout the day, drink water in large amounts less frequently, add salt to your water, be careful because too much sodium causes hypertension, drink your body weight in ounces, don't drink too much water. The list goes on and on!
So what's the right way? The simplest answer is whatever makes you feel best. If you're worried about whether or not you are getting the enough hydration (sometimes the color of your urine doesn't tell you everything), invest in some hydration test strips and pee away!
A few tweaks here and there, along with continuing to test your hydration, should help you find what works best for you. And get excited! Actually being hydrated feels SO GOOD!
